KIVO strengthens its leading role in using recycled material (PCR) in flexible plastic packaging by investing in a new 5-layer coextruder from the leading company WIndmöller & Höllscher.
The number of customers that are willing to use PCR in their current packaging is increasing rapidly. This is due to the high quality PCR, changing legislation and regulations and the desire of companies to make their packaging more sustainable. KIVO’s new coextruder is exclusively used to produce (tubular) film with percentages of up to 88% PCR. This allows KIVO to guarantee its high quality films and easily meet the increasing demand for its applications.
