KIVO reinforces its leading role in deploying PCR in flexible plastic packaging material.

KIVO reinforces its leading role in using recycled material (PCR) in flexible plastic packaging by investing in a new 5-layer coextruder from leading company Windmöller & Höllscher.

The number of customers willing to use PCR in their current packaging is increasing rapidly. This is partly due to the high quality PCR, changing laws and regulations and companies' desire to become more sustainable. KIVO's new coextruder is used exclusively to produce (tube)film with percentages of PCR up to 88%. This allows KIVO to maintain its high quality films guarantee and easily handle the increasing demand for its applications.
