KIVO Flexible Plastics is pleased to announce that we are now officially certified with BQA QA-CER Recycled Content under System 2. This certification confirms our commitment to sustainability and our pioneering role in the circular economy by not only verifying the use of recycled materials in our products, but also by ensuring the technical specifications of both the recycled content and the final product.
The BQA QA-CER Recycled Content certification, specifically System 2, allows us to communicate with confidence and transparency about the recycled content in our products. The system requires a clear description of the products covered by the certificate, along with external product verification by an approved organisation, providing an extra layer of reliability and quality assurance to our customers.
This certification highlights our commitment to developing sustainable products and processes and reinforces our customers' confidence in the recycled content of our products. For example, when we claim 40% post consumer recycled plastic added in our products, this is now supported by the strict requirements and controls of System 2 of the BQA QA-CER certification.
We are proud of this important milestone and remain committed to increasing the use of recycled plastic (both PIR and PCR) in our production processes, as part of our mission to make the plastic packaging industry more sustainable.
