We are proud to share that KIVO has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal.
EcoVadis is an internationally recognised assessment platform that evaluates companies on sustainability, the environment, working conditions & human rights, ethics, and supply chain responsibility. An increasing number of customers are requesting this independent assessment as proof that sustainable ambitions are actually being realised.
The Bronze Medal shows that we are on the right track. For us, this is an important result, especially because KIVO is a family business with a long-term vision, deeply rooted in two close-knit communities: Volendam and Kaçanik.
For generations, we have valued strong relationships with customers, employees, suppliers and our community, and we act responsibly within applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Our focus is on sustainable plastics. We are aware of our stewardship for a healthy planet and approach this in a way that suits us:
- pragmatic,
- without empty claims,
- with real-world measures in practice.
EcoVadis asks for evidence. For us, that means recording more, communicating even more transparently and working with measurable indicators. That mirror helps us to take an even sharper look at what is going well and where things can be improved.
We therefore do not see this Bronze Medal as a final destination, but rather as both confirmation and encouragement.
