On March 2017, KIVO acquired 51% of the shares in Frischmann Kunststoffe GmbH. KIVO and Frischmann already work together for 26 years with regards to purchasing of granulates. Both companies also serve a number of the same large European customers.
For both parties time has come to intensify the cooperation by entering into a Joint Venture.
Considering the similarities and existing relations between the companies, interesting synergies could be realised, which also benefits our joint customers.
Frischmann Kunststoffe GmbH is located in Eisfeld in former East Germany. The modern factory employs 65 employees and is BRC-IOP certified. Current production capacity amounts up to 11kton of mono- and coextruded film and tube.
Owner Lutz Frischmann continues to manage the joint venture with the same passion and commitment. The strong partnership between KIVO and Frischmann will offer new opportunities for further joint development in sales, purchasing and production.
