Last week, the last part of our very first NOVOFLEX flexo printing press from Windmöller & Hölscher Group left our production site in Volendam. The video at the bottom of this post shows the machine being prepared for transport to another party abroad, where it is expected to perform reliably for years to come.
For KIVO, this marks the end of a long and productive period with a printing press that has played an important role in realising high-quality packaging solutions for our customers for many years. At the same time, it also means the start of a new chapter: the arrival of our second NOVOFLEX II is about to begin.
With this expansion, we are further investing in the future of our production environment. The second NOVOFLEX II enables us to:
- further increase production capacity,
- further improve print quality,
- reduce lead times,
- and further reduce ink and energy consumption.
This investment is in line with our long-term vision: to continue to innovate with technology that supports efficient and more sustainable packaging solutions.
Watch the video of the departure of the original NOVOFLEX below. Soon we will also share footage of the installation of the new machine.
