Part of this law requires that waste bags must consist of 80% recycled material, of which at least 50% must be post-consumer recycled (PCR).<\/p>\n<p>Within KIVO, we are very pleased with this new law, because it is an incentive to use recycled plastic. It also provides more transparency regarding the use of recycled plastic. All this ensures that the chain in which we operate becomes increasingly sustainable.<\/p>\n<p>In order to comply with this law, it was important to be audited and to obtain a certificate. This has been done and, entirely in line with expectations, we have received the &#8216;Certificate of quality management system for recycling &#8211; and production companies &#8211; QA-cer system 2&#8217; from BQA, the Belgian Quality Association. This means we are able to guarantee the traceability of our recycled raw materials and thus comply with the Vlarema 7 law.<\/p>\n<p>At KIVO, we strive to minimise our environmental footprint at every step of the production and distribution chain.
